Al Royale

Disco/House/Electronica DJ

Al started DJing in 1992 playing small clubs and parties in Nottingham and on the UK free
party scene (doofs).

Through the 90s and his Djing took him to USA, South America, Europe and to many festivals and clubs. Since 2004 he has lived in Australia and has been playing in various bars in Sydney, Byron and Cairns.

He has had several vinyl releases and remix projects...on his first release, Giddy Heights in '98, Al played keyboards, sax and bongos and it was a very jazzy soulful flavour.

The sound has continued in his DJing over the years and it can be described as funky, soulful and electronic.

Although embracing technology and mixing with his lappy Al is still faithful to vinly and still takes a box of records to gigs.

Als style is currently disco, re-edits of old disco tracks, house and funky music in general.
