Rock/Roots/Blues Band Solo Duo

Eddie Skiba, a singer/songwriter and recording artist, has performed regularly in the Cairns and Port Douglas region as an acoustic solo and duo artist as well as doing a handful of performances each year in The Far North and Victoria showcasing his original recordings with a full band. He has evolved his craft over the years from initially writing mainly acoustic duo songs to now developing his own fresh brand of indie rock with a splash of blues and roots, drawing on a lifetime of influences. Highlights to date include tours to Ireland and the Tirol region of Austria, supporting Diesel at Cairns NYE concert, Cairns Blues Festival, the Tablelands Festival, supporting Nick Barker, Rail Jam Concert Mt Buller, Gershwin Room at the Espy, Transport Bar Melbourne ....

Eddie is currently focused on completing his new full length CD that is being recorded at Basin Studio in Melbourne and will be ready for release in mid 2012.
