New funky sounds are rising from Cairns. Presenting the Far Northern Soul Collective. Mission - to funk up your life. Wanting to add some butt-shaking music to the Far North, Nick, Dave, Scott, Emmaline, Luke and Paul have put together the FNSC to sheik up the scene. Featuring funky bass, wailing guitars, awesome keyboards, thumping drums and sexy brass, FNSC has taken off across the region this year.

| We play a range of musical styles, centred around funk, soul, roots and reggae in the tropical style. The band perform a range of classic dance tracks from artists including Stevie Wonder and Jamiroquai, mixed with funk and soul based original songs and Roots /Reggae tracks from Ben Harper, Jack Jonson and Jason Mraz. |

| Since forming 2010 the band has performed at the 2010 Amateurs Ball, Kuranda Roots Festival, Cairns Festival and a number of premier venues in Cairns including the Tanks, Salthouse, The Shrubbery, Gilligans and Ba8. |
