THE FLAMIN' CANETOADS ARE A BLUES BAND BASED IN THE FAR NORTH QUEENSLAND, AUSTRALIA.

A four piece band, they have been together for a little over three years.

Foxy on Bass and vocals, who originates from the Torres Strait.

Fish on Sax an expatriate New Zealander.

Weirdo on Guitar and vocals, a Melbourne born lad.

Blue Daimler on Drums and vocals, also from New Zealand.

Foxy has been in the Music Industry for Thirty years originally playing with Johnos Blues Band, when they were first starting out.

Fish is a trained professional working in the Music Industry for over Thirty Years.

Weirdo was brought up on ZZ Top, Hound Dog Taylor and SRV and has played in bands from Melbourne to Cairns.

Blue Daimler has been the Drummer in bands based on the Atherton Tablelands and Cairns.

Harmonica Player Louk Koelman born and bred in Cairns sits in when he is not working afar.

They play a variety of Blues genders from Hound Dog Taylor, BB King, SRV, Doors, Bondi Cigars, Eric Clapton, George Thorogood and Gary Moore to name a few.

They include in their play list a selection of Originals penned by Foxy, Weirdo and Blue Daimler.

Boogie Joe, Pretty Woman, I Tell You Why O Why, Corporate Lawyer, Hit The Road Running, Good Loving Woman and Love To Boogie are all originals.

They are a high energy, full of fun Blues Band who love what they play.

They have played at Johnos Blues Bar as support act to Dave Hole before Johno's closed, the Park View Hotel Gordonvale, Cow Bay Hotel, Cape York Hotel, Butchers Creek, Irvinebank, Garradunga, Kuranda and recently at the Edge Hill Tavern. They also play at Birthday Partys, BBQ\'s, Charity Gigs, Christmas and New Years Eve Parties.

They love to shuffle, they love to boogie, they love to rock, they love to swing and they love to play the Blues.
