Frank Frikker
Folk/Blues/Country Solo
Frank - The Story-Teller
Born in 1956 in Germany, has been playing in bands or solo on and off; a career in the corporate world did not allow for more. Finally, at the age of 50 and after having lived and worked in many countries and after having settled in paradise (Port Douglas) Frank found time for what he loves most to do - music. Besides being part of the Duo "A Good Drop" with regular gigs around Port Douglas, Frank is a classical singer/songwriter. His songs are about contemporary topics, stories that move him, real live experience. His songs therefore tell stories, make people think and laugh. Among others his stories are about a swag man as portrait in ABC1, a love/hate relationship with a computer, struggle with the media, disabled sports people with incredible achievements, climate change, lost generations and unusual love matters.
