AJ HACKETT CAIRNS FREE VENUE HIRE ON WEEKENDS!

AJ Hackett Cairns is offering you FREE VENUE HIRE for your next Function or Event!

We pride ourselves on having a unique and magical
venue by day and by night.
The venue offers exclusive use of the rainforest setting
complete with waterfalls, an undercover building area
and open air areas.
The site is extremely diverse and can be themed to suit the
requirements of your function whilst maintaining a natural
feel and a great atmosphere.

The AJ Hackett Cairns site is open 364 days a year for operation (closed Christmas Day) from 10:00am 5:00pm

Site Hire hours:The AJ Hackett Cairns site is available for hire from 7pm to 12am

Capacity: 10 1000 people

INCLUSIONS:

Exclusive use of the AJ Hackett Cairns building area (wet weather option), lower and upper deck areas and grassed areas (Other sections of the site can be used on request).
Bar Persons (varies depending on the number of guests see table above)
Use of Male, Female & Handicapped toilets.
Cleaning of toilets & General Site area
I-Tunes music system (create a list from our library or bring your own)
Use of approx 60 chairs if required
Use of tables x 9 if required
Outside lighting around boardwalks, viewing decks and paths

CATERING:
We can arrange or recommend quality catering options depending on your budget and the style of your function.

BBQ HIRE:
BBQ Hire is available for $20 per use. This includes BBQ & Gas. All food, utensils, plates etc are to be supplied by the party/group.

IN HOUSE MUSIC:
We have an I-tunes based music system running from the bar. It holds a very comprehensive list of music and is played out through 2 x 350 W RMS Speakers. You are welcome to upload any CDs or play lists for your party or create a list from the music already on our system. This must be arranged at least 1 day prior to the function.

ENTERTAINMENT:
We can recommend or arrange many entertainment options, including DJS, Bands, Fire Shows and more.

THEMING & LIGHTING:
We can arrange or recommend a range of options for themes and lighting requirements. The site can be transformed to suit the requirements of your function and lighting can be positioned around the site to create depth, highlight the rainforest canopy, create a mystic feel or a nightclub atmosphere the options are endless!
We work with many events companies who know our site extremely well and can recommend themes to suit your function.

TRANSPORT:
Transport can be arranged with a range of options depending on your group size.
Groups from 50-110 people: $200 one way from Cairns City or $400 return.

LOCATION:
The AJ Hackett Cairns site is located 15 minutes North of Cairns City and only 3 minutes off the Captain Cook Highway.
We are located at the end of McGregor Road, Smithfield (Turn off at McGregor Road roundabout and follow up to our car park).

Insurance:
Functions held onsite at AJ Hackett Cairns are covered under the AJ Hackett Cairns Public Liability Insurance unless function is operated by an external events company in which case their companies PLI Insurance is in effect.

Licensing:
AJ Hackett Cairns Gravity Bar is held by Luke Johnson, General Manager of AJ Hackett Cairns.
