An acoustic diverse duo, blend elements of R&B, folk, funk & reggae to deliver a fresh sound suitable for almost any occasion. From mellow standards to modern melodies - Mimic sets the vibe... Having worked previously in the successful touring cover band 'Muthafunk', as well as playing in a trio called Vikarious, Zdenek Styk (guitar & keys and vocals) and Nikita Jay (vocals, keyboards and percussion ) are no strangers to the Cairns music scene - Nikita's experience also includes 3 years freelancing for various professional cover bands in Melbourne and Brisbane ,whilst Zdenek has maintained the thriving Ubud Recording Studio' in Kuranda. Together they add a distinct unique flavour to the Far North's musical melting pot.
