NIDA ON TOUR

The National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) comes to Cairns to present a series of four school holiday workshops at Tanks Arts Centre. NIDA on Tour provides regional students with the opportunity to select from a series of exciting short courses, ranging from two to four days, led by industry professional tutors. There are two courses available for those aged between 1215 years and two for students 16 years and over. Details as follows:

Acting Accelerated. Develop skills in improvisation, character and script-work over an intensive weekend. Ages: 12-15 Years. Dates: 2-3 Oct. Time: 10AM 5PM. Cost: $220 incl GST.

NIDA Acting Techniques. Develop skills in voice, movement, improvisation and characterisation. Respond to scripts, relate to others effectively, and prepare to act with ease and skill. Ages: 12-15 Years & 16+ Years. Dates: 28 Sept-1 Oct. Time: 10AM 5PM. Cost: $425 incl GST.

Screen Acting Intensive. Learn techniques for performing truthfully on screen. Rehearse and film scenes from the best in film and TV drama to camera. Review work and receive feedback to progress your performance skills over an intensive weekend. Ages: 16+ Years. Dates: 2-3 Oct. Time: 10AM 5PM. Cost: $220 incl GST.
