Powerhouse jazz combination! Paul Grabowsky is a prominent feature in Australia's jazz landscape, as a pianist, composer, arranger, conductor and programmer. A distinguished artist, Grabowsky has won four ARIA awards, two Helpmann awards, several Bell Awards and a Deadly award. He was Artistic Director of the Queensland Music Festival from 2005-2007 and the 2010 Adelaide Festival, a role he continues for 2012. Wilson was impressive with his trio in the 2011 Jazz Up North series and returns this year to compliment Grabowsky and present some different tunes. Wilson won the 2008 Australian Jazz Award for 'Australian Jazz Artist of the Year' and delivers a powerful stage performance and presence.
