Pauline Bradshaw Duo
Jazz/Swing/Latin Duo
Pauline Bradshaw is a much loved singer of Jazz Standards.
She has worked with most of the jazz musicians in Cairns and she is also the vocalist with The Cairns Concert Band and Tropical Brass, both Big Bands.
Julian Young is a seasoned jazz and Latin pianist who has worked for over 40 years in the industry during which time he has played with many well known artists.

Pauline is greatly influenced by many Jazz, Ballad and Soul singers;
Amongst them are:-
Ella Fitzgerald, Peggy Lee, Julie London, Diana Krall, Patti Austin....
Julian's influences include the playing of Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock and Keith Jarrett.
He is also greatly influenced by Cuban Music.

Pauline recently went to Hawaii performing with The Tuggerah Lakes Showband on their Goodwill Tour.
Her latest achievement is singing with well known and well loved jazz trumpeter, Bob Barnard and also duet-ing with Johnny Nicol, one of Australiaâ??s best known and loved indigenous jazz performers.
Some of Julian's career highlights include heading a 10 piece band at Lennonâ??s Hotel in Brisbane for many years, working on South Mole Island with his band, touring with Rita Mills, accompanying Stevie Wonder and spending an afternoon in the studio with Oscar Peterson - the list goes on!
