RAGE AVENUE
Rock/Pop/Indie Band
Rage Avenue have been described by the FNQ music fraternity as a "raw and exciting new talent". Appealing to a young audience, they provide the perfect mix of catchy originals and covers.
The band reshuffled in 2011 with current members Anthony Sayers (Drums), Nick Galvin (Guitar) and David Zahner (Vocals and Bass). Now in Year 10, it's hard to believe these boys are still at school when you watch them perform. They took on much older musicians to make it to the TimeOUT finals in 2011. One commentator was noted as saying, "They play like hardened professionals".
A guest spot on the Marty and Jess Breakfast Show (HOT FM 103.5), performing an acoustic version of one of their latest tunes was a lot of fun.
Other successes include taking out the top prize at the 2011 Innisfail Show Battle of the Bands.
We would recommend that if you get the chance to see these boys play live at a local venue then TAKE IT!
