Sal Badcock
Acoustic/Covers Solo
I was born in Tasmania in 1964, the year the Beatles toured Australia. I began playing guitar and singing in 1975 and professionally from 1995.
I started out singing and playing electric bass guitar with a band in Hobart and more recently in Mission Beach with 'Sax On The Beach' and 'Dogma'.
As a soloist, I play acoustic guitars; these include a six string, a vintage twelve string and an acoustic bass.

Set list
Setlist? Over 120 songs. My voice is described as rich warm and powerful. Perfectly matched to beautiful ballads by Crowded House, Redgum, Ross Ryan and Cold Chisel. On the flip side I draw on my rock-chick heritage to belt out big songs by groups like The Animals, Choirboys, Cranberries and Midnight Oil
Influences
My influences include: Cold Chisel, James Reyne, Divinyls, Ian Moss, David Bowie, Pretenders, Neil Young ... an eclectic bunch :-)

Gig Highlights
My play-list is biased towards Australian music. Chances are the audiences have heard my songs before. However they may never have heard them done in my style.
