Sing Australia Cairns
Choral Singing group with emphasis on having FUN!!
Sing Australia Cairns is one of more than 110 Sing Australia groups that forms Australia's largest and fastest growing National Network of singing groups. Established by Colin Slater OAM in Canberra in 1986 to encourage all Australians to sing, the warm, friendly, happy, encouraging way that our groups operate ensures everyone has the opportunity to "sing as if no-one is listening" and to feel you CAN do it despite what others may have told you in the past!!
There are: - NO AUDITIONS and NO REQUIREMENT TO READ MUSIC.

We rehearse every MONDAY NIGHT from 7 - 9pm at the GERMANIA CLUB, 57 WINKWORTH STREET, WESTCOURT.
Cost is $6 which includes supper!

Whatever the event, we have a large, suitable repertoire to perform and a vibrant bunch of singers who love singing for everyone's enjoyment. |

We sing in many places for many reasons - mostly because we can and we like to!!
We sing for conferences, Relay for Life, dinners, in nursing homes.....anywhere, anytime, we do our best to be there!!
Conducting singing in Parliament House, Canberra has been a personal highlight while, for other Cairns members, singing at the Crocosseum at Australia Zoo and for four Cairns members, their recent trip to Anzac Cove, Gallipoli last Anzac Day is well and truly a highlight for them!! |
