Roll up roll up! ‘Sonic SideShow’ is a unique youth produced event that will combine fun and frivolity with a diverse showcase of contemporary live youth music.
Hitting the Fogarty Park sound shell stage this Friday September 18 from 6-10pm will be hip hop, electro comedy rock, acoustic indi, punk rock, glam rock and headlined by Gilligans’ “Battle of the bands” finalists Said & Done and Canniblast with their intense explosive metal.
This awesome gig has been put together by the Cairns Tanks Events Crew - a group of motivated, young aspiring event managers participating in a 10 week training program to learn all aspects of event management.
The event has a Circus/Carnivale theme with attractions to suit, such as a jumping castle, mechanical bull, and clowns!
The program is being delivered in partnership with Anglicare’s Youth Substance Misuse Service with funding from the Department of Health and Ageing Binge Drinking Community Level Initiative and the Tanks Arts Centre.
