THE McMENAMINS

The McMenamins thrilled at Tanks earlier this year opening for Toni Childs, now they return to launch their third studio album Long Time Gone. This brother and sister duo draw on alternative country and folk influences, using honeyed vocal harmonies with mandolin and violin driven instrumentals to deliver "Beautiful Acoustica".
Their style ranges from storytelling within intimate and sensitive soundscapes, to high energy folk'n'roll which delights audiences time after time. Hailing from Far North Queensland, The McMenamins have played major festivals, gained critical acclaim, consistent radio play and have a string of song awards and nominations under their belt. Their album was supported by the Regional Arts Development Fund, a Queensland Government and Cairns Regional Council partnership to support local arts and culture.
