Acoustic /Folk/Jazz Singer/songwriter

Lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist in NZ and Australia, Virginia has covered most genres of music over a 17 year period including performing solo at NZ Jazz festival. Since arriving in Australia, Virginia has concentrated on her acoustic music and songwriting which culminated in the release of her self titled CD in 2007. Her acoustic Duo provided the opportunity to perform overseas at Jazz & Blues venues. Her 2009 performance at the Undara Country Rock & Blues Festival is testimony to how this lady doesn't like to be typecast! (Virginia plays guitar, banjo and electric ukulele.)
Her love for jazz and musical harmonies sets the platform for her to take a classic tune and make it into something new from delicate acoustic melodies to arrangements that frame her powerful voice.
