Ever wondered how your water gets treated before it gets to your home? Or what happens to the water that goes down your drains and toilets? We invite you to come visit Council’s Water Treatment Plant and Northern Wastewater Treatment Plant to find out all about how we treat our water and wastewater. There’s only 10 positions available so sign up now! To register for this tour please contact Council on 4044 3044. For safety reasons you will be required to wear long pants and closed in shoes on the tour. A bus will be provided to sites, departing 8:30am from Cairns Regional Council offices at 119-145 Spence St, Cairns. |
