Astrid Elika's diverse musical history, which includes performing as part of the Adelaide Girls Choir, some funky surfy bands, and numerous Accapella groups, mingled in with the traditional sound of the Harp and her quirky songwriting style provides audiences with a truly unique performance.
Astrid describes her songs as an outer expression of her inner world, fragile, joyful, peaceful, chaotic, lonely & ecstatic, expressing every day intricacies, intimate ups and downs, and little quirky bits of life.
Astrid's music is moving forward in leaps and bounds, finding herself playing to growing audiences at many local venues and festivals, including the 'Palm Creek Folk Festival' and the 'Tablelands Folk Festival'. The joy of Festival performing is perceived in all of Astrid's shows.
