WHO DOESN’T LOVE THE 70S????
Following the success of the 80s parties at the Casino, it’s time to travel further back to the superb 70s!
What an evolution of the music industry.
The 70s…the decade that saw the rise of disco, which became one of the biggest genres of the decade, especially in the mid-to-late 1970s.
Aside from disco, funk, soul and R&B, that remained popular, Rock music played a huge part in the musical landscape, with punk and glam rock thriving throughout worldwide.
To round out the decade, pop and electronic music rose massively with synthesised music giving listeners a new fresh sound to follow.
Fingerprint, the band, come on board with the Casino production team jointly produce a sight, sound and visual experience for an authentic 70S night with over 3 hours of pure 70S music, live & recorded.
Fingerprint led by Ash and Juanita with their 6-piece band pay homage to the era by rolling out hit after hit live of some of the biggest songs ever and that remain current and on high rotation 50 years after released.
“From Disco to Rock to Pop to R&B we are spoilt for choice when selecting the show. You forget that these amazing songs were from the 70s!” comments Ash.
This timeless music fused with a lighting show and visuals to match, transforms our BAR36 and foyer into an immersive 70s club taking the audience on a musical journey back…Back to the 70S. “We encourage people dress up in 70s gear! And get into the spirit of the era” says Bruce, Entertainment Manager.
