Rocking crowds in Far North Queensland for twenty years, Benny and the Clones deliver powerful and passionate original music to anyone who will listen.

With four studio albums under their belt, a music video in the can and an ever-expanding clone army, core trio Ben Radford (Guitar, Keys, Lead Vox) Dale Priem (Lead Guitar, Vox) and Ben Kuring (Drums, Vox) even managed to produce a short film for Port Douglas festival Port Shorts documenting their rise to famethrough the art of jingle writing.

Since launching their third album (and soon to be officially launching their fourth) the boys have been taking the opportunity to showcase their diverse song catalogue at North Queensland festivals including the Tablelands Folk Fest, Palm Cove Reef Feast, Rock the Yacht, Taste Port Douglas and Port Douglas Carnivale. Needing some city time every year (and to see their mums), The Clones rock out live down south in Melbourne at iconic venues such as The Retreat, The Empress, and Young & Jackson to name a few. Their die-hard love of playing and supporting original music see the boys regularly perform locally in Port Douglas and Cairns. They've supported a whole bunch of big-name touring acts including the Hoodoo Gurus, Eskimo Joe, The Sunnyboys, Custard, Kingswood, and even big Dazza Braithwaite.

Lead singer/songwriter Ben Radford is a prolific songwriter and has described the band as a love child of Thom Yorke, Jeff Tweedy, Gene and Dean Ween, Beck, The Go-Betweens and Dan Kelly. That's a lot of parents to have, but a particular style has emerged they can easily call their own. Their lyrics don't fluff around either - often going straight for the jugular on issues like politics, religion, environment, the inner workings of the human being and, much to his wife’s delight: the joys of relationships and marriage!
