Bent Intent is Pete Blay from Cairns, AUS. Pete's involvement in the electronic scene began in 1997, and has since been performing at events Australia wide, as well as forming part of the Freeform Collective, that brought the infamous Winter Solstice Festivals and numerous other events to North Queensland.

Pete's live project - 'Bent Intent' - combines open soundscapes, sneaky rhythms, accoustic elements and evolving synthesis. Bent Intent follows the 'less is more approach', revelling in the spaces in between - to create an original and distinct fusion of chilled and world beats, with smatterings of dub, ambient, downbeat and triphop…

Bent Intent dj sets drop into the next gear, known for laying slabs of midtempo bass music, dub & wobble tailored for the d'floor - and new side project 'Quinkan' is quickly gaining a reputation for straight up, elongated, no frills bush techno.

Pete has perfomed at festivals including Rainbow Serpent, Earth Frequency, Cairns Eclipse 2012, Dragon Dreaming, Maitreya, Freakreation & Earthdance.
