Ben Wilson is an award winning singer-songwriter based in Yungaburra, FNQ. Traditional Folk, country, blues and old time banjo blend together to make a rich, historic texture of sounds.
Born and raised on the salty shores of Brighton, England, Ben grew up to a musical family and learned his trade from a young age. At the age of 20yrs old, Wilson relocated to Lismore, NSW where he joined the 5-piece folk band The Button Collective, playing banjo and harmonica. After playing at many music festivals up and down the country both as a soloist and with the band, Ben finally relocated to the Tablelands of Far North Qld in 2021 where he regularly wows audiences with his banjo picking, finger style guiar and dynamic vocals
