Carinda Christie has been kicking butt for 3 decades. Six Albums and opening acts for the likes of Ash Grundwald, Wendy Matthews, Collective Soul, Jeff Lang, Tex Perkins and many more. She calls the Atherton Tablelands home and has written many songs about her life here. Teaming up with Mark Trimboli on drums, Jason Donnelly Guitar extraordinaire and recently teaminging up with Bass player phaenomenon Jean-Marie Mounier from The Howlin Dingoes who also plays Didge. Carinda plays slide guitar, keys, uke and acoustic guitar while smacking you in the guts and sending shivers down your spine with her big soulful vocals. An act not to be missed. They will be playing a mix of her favourite covers from Janis Joplin, Amy whinehouse to Led Zepplin and everything in between with power house originals.
As a solo Artist she does not dissapoint, her feet play percussion pedals whilst still playing an array of Instruments and punching out Ballards to Rock Favs to uptempo Covers. Carinda Does not use any backing of any sorts in solo or Band as she loves the what you see is what you get approach.
