Come Alive! Performing Arts (CAPA) is a collaboration of performing artists who have come together with a shared passion for regular, creative performance.
Established in late 2009, CAPA has already started filling the niche market of theatre restaurant. Our rich mix of actors, singers, dancers and creative writers makes this the perfect launch pad as we introduce ourselves to the Cairns entertainment scene.
CAPA performs 100% original shows with all writing, musical arrangement, direction and production undertaken by CAPA cast members. We take popular songs, fiction and comedy and weave them into new formats that can be presented in an intimate theatre restaurant atmosphere to great delight by our guests.
CAPA has performed three successful theatre restaurant series: \\\'Ebeneezer, a plaza Christmas Carol\\\' and \\\'The Love Shack, a Vaudeville Valentines celebration\\\' and \\\'Death of A Supermodel - Murder Mystery 80s style\\\'. As we move through 2010, we are developing further dinner theatre shows and honing our different presentations options as a choir, entertainment band and training group.
CAPA is available for private bookings and have already completed two successful corporate engagements. We can customise shows to a particular group and are developing a number of other entertainment packages to suit such events - contact us for more information.
