Crate59 is an artist run initiative in Cairns, Far North Queensland, that aims to support local young and emerging contemporary artists. Operating since December 2008, the site houses the Crate59 Gallery, Billy’s Coffee, and 11 resident artists’ studios.
Crate59 Gallery: Monthly artist-run exhibitions and events.
Billy’s Coffee: Cairns’ favourite smiling barista, Billy’s Coffee shares the Crate59 space and supports all its goings on.
