Denim Blues was formed within days of the opening of Mission Beach Blues Bar & Cafe in July 2020 and they have pretty much been the "house band" there ever since. Brendan and Bruce between them have decades of experience and together began creating the formula that has won then praise from patrons and venue owners alike. The duo recently became a trio band with Bernie joining the fray on drums and percussion complimenting acoustic and electric guitars and bass and mandolin as their tools of choice. Blues is their bag with all its variations from bluegrass influences to electric guitar driven blues and foot stompers to get the place jumpin'.

All the blues greats past and present including the likes of Taj Mahal Ry Cooder, Tommy Castro, BB King, Joe Bonnamassa, Tennessee Ernie Ford, Lead Belly, the Bondis, Tommy Castro, Tab Benoit and Samantha Fish as well as a growing list of numbers penned by the band themselves.
