Eddie Skiba, a singer/songwriter and recording artist, has performed regularly in the Cairns and Port Douglas region as a soloist, duo or band. He has also completed tours of the East Coast down to Victoria as well as previous overseas tours to Ireland and the Tirol region of Austria. Skiba creates his own fresh brand of indie rock, drawing on a lifetime of influences. He also plays regular cover shows at various Cairns venues and private functions. Highlights to date include supporting Hoodoo Gurus, Ian Moss, Mark Seymour, The Break, Diesel, Chocolate Starfish, Dragon, Nick Barker, Jon Stevens, Black Sorrows, Cairns Blues Festival, Mission Evolve Festival, Sunset in the Park Festival, Brisbane Powerhouse, the Tablelands Festival, Rail Jam Concert Mt Buller, Gershwin Room at the Espy, Yah Yahs, the iconic Transport Bar Melbourne and tours to Ireland and the Tirol region of Austria. He has also enjoyed national airplay including Triple M, ABC and the Marngrook Footy Show. Eddie's 3 full length albums, 'Bullet De Bloom', Blend on the Border' and the new 'Chasing Rainbows', as well as the EP 'Dig It' are now available on Bandcamp, Spotify and Apple Music as well as at shows.
