This is the story of Claire, a self-diagnosed coffeeholic who answers the call to set up and run a coffee shop in Far North Queensland. But things are not as she expected. Her boss hates her, the coffee shop is a tin shed behind a brick veneer house and the tall dark man who meets her at the station is called Bruce...rnIts sequel, The Teahouse in the Lime Trees is due out in 2014. Elizabeth was one of the winners of the Port Douglas and Mossman Gazette and Reef Writers Poetry competition in 2012 with her poem Silence Slices, and has short stories in the Tropical Writers anthologies Category 5 and Lost in Mangroves, as well as the ABC anthology Great Australian Rabbit Stories. Her short story Damn Dog Won't Die was published in the e-anthology Looking Forward, Looking Back in 2013. |
