A rhythmical and lyrical songstress, Sister Liberty emanates a passionate, and positive roots experience. With uplifting, groovy acoustic music. Soothing song-bird and world-rhythm-connector Sister Liberty, sings up with gratitude and rapture. Her music exudes powerful, positive messages and a healing energy that unites and inspires. Her melodic flow of poetry and distinctive percussive style weaves a mix of soulful reggae, funk and folk with world music flavours.

Sister Liberty is music in motion, drawing from her Polynesian heritage and original artistry as a drummer and dancer. Her earthy nature emanates spirituality and sensuality, a seductive strength. Her infectious grooves and spirited playful presence, naturally relaxes and engages people, creating a synergy between artist and audience.

Sister Liberty’s debut album Emanate, is a reggae roots and groove vibration, highlighted with luscious harmonies and quirky percussion instruments. It is a classic example of just how she loves to make a joyful noise, sweet as nectar.

Robert Crokford: “Sister, you have a beautiful voice, reminds me of Marcia Griffiths and an island breeze, the grooviness of Erykah Badu, the soul power of Billie Holiday.
Vision, mission, purpose…
