There are two parklands located on either site of the Esplanade Lagoon available for venue hire.

The Western Event Lawn is located at the western side of the Lagoon in picturesque surrounds and includes BBQ facilities. The Lagoon amenities block is located nearby with toilet and shower facilities.

Located on the eastern side of the Lagoon is the Eastern Event Lawn. This area has views over the water and along the Cairns Esplanade foreshore. There is plenty of parking within walking distance. The lawn is also close to the Lagoon amenities block with toilet and shower facilities.
