Euphoria duo is a violin and guitar duo based in Cairns, Australia. Francine plays the violin and Matthew plays the nylon string acoustic guitar. Together Matthew and Francine create beautiful, melodic music to make any special occasion even more memorable and unique. Their repertoire spans from classical pieces to contemporary renditions of popular love songs.

Francine is a highly experienced performer in both solo and ensemble settings. She completed her musical training at the University of Melbourne Conservatorium, wherein she studied with Helen Ayres. Between 2008 and 2012 she directed the Woodland Duo, a Melbourne based violin and cello duo that specialized in weddings and corporate functions. She has performed with the Melbourne Youth Orchestra, Chamber Strings of Melbourne, University of Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and the University of Melbourne Chamber Orchestra. Since moving to Cairns she has been heavily involved in the classical music scene. She currently leads the Cairns Concert Orchestra, and performs regularly with the Palmerston Ensemble, Barrier Reef Orchestra, North Queensland Chamber Orchestra and Cairns Winter Music School Orchestra.

Matthew studied music at the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts receiving the Hawaiian Award scholarship in his graduating year. He has played with Australian and International artists all over Australia. He is a multi instrumentalist and has supported many successful acts such as Thirsty Merc, Human Nature and Bon Jovi. Mathew also teaches music at St Monica's and the Cairns Hinterland Steiner School.
