Began at 8 y/o. Dip Jazz. under Don Burrows, George Golla, Roger Frampton, Jamie Abersold, Freddie Hubbard, John Schofield, Rufus Reid, Eberhardt Weber, Todd Coolman (NYC)... Hundreds of studio sessions in Sydney, Newcastle, Tamworth & Cairns. House bassist for numerous clubs & studios. Extensive touring, National & International T.V.& major concert events as sideman. Successful and influential band leader/ MD in Jazz, Pop, Rock Caberet & original idioms. Accomplished arranger, composer, producer/engineer. Owner/Operator of jingle/production studio "The Blue Room". Acknowledged as creative contributer in 3 ARIA wins. Retain a publishing/transcription gig with John Williamson

With some 30 years professional entertainment experience, I have played for numerous acts as diverse as Don Burrows (Jazz), Dragon (Rock) and John Williamson & Lee Kernighan (Country). I have in fact played with hundreds of leading Australian and visiting international acts as side-man or Musical Director.

I have played every venue imaginable, from live international broadcasts to suburban clubs and pubs, the A.R.I.A. awards, platinum/gold selling studio work to private functions and corporate/Govt. events.
