Glacier Rock brings together four passionate musicians and vocalists presenting to you a romantic blend of smooth cover tunes with a Latin twist. This quartet will charm you with jazz, blues and love songs and have you dancing to samba, pop and rock. Glacier Rock is built on a mountain of musical talent and experience. Migsy Trapaga on keys and dobros is a skilled musician, vocalist and songwriter. Gerry Miers a pillar of the Cairns Jazz and country scene on bass, banjo and guitar. Rossco Nargar on drums covers a wide range of grooves after playing with Drum Up Big , Samba Blistas , Five O’Clock Somewhere. Rossco is a well-known face at our wonderful local festival Wallaby Creek. AND up front the delightful voice of Millie Taylor–Brown… yes that is Millie’s real name. Millie has been honing her vocal craft with the popular Soul Song Choir and now heads up the cooler than cool Glacier Rock.
