The JCU Cairns Eisteddfod is a vibrant competition open to youth aged 4 to 18, encompassing Music, Speech and Drama, and Dance.

More than 2000 young participants from the region and across the state will showcase their talents in various age group categories. This includes choirs, orchestras, bands, and individual solo championships in Music. The Speech and Drama sections feature Choric Speaking and Duologues performed by students from local schools.

Additionally, the Dance sections feature school and dance school troupes, as well as solo, duo, and trio performances in Classical Ballet, Tap, Modern, Hip Hop, and Acrobatics.

SINGLE SESSION TICKETS

CPAC Single Session tickets - plan ahead – don’t queue at the box office, buy before performance day
Single Session Tickets will be emailed from 48 hours prior to session start time
CPAC Single Session Tickets are available for purchase:

In person at the Ticketlink Box Office at CPAC – Mon to Fri 9am to 5pm
Please make sure that you are booking the correct date and session time as these tickets are non-refundable.

(Tickets for all sessions being held at the CDJE Hall will be available for purchase at the door of the hall only)

MULTI SESSION PASSES

Multi-session Passes for sessions being held at CPAC can be purchased online or in person at the CPAC Theatre Box Office.
Multi-session Passes will not be emailed. These tickets can be collected at CPAC Box Office. Please collect your tickets ahead of the start of the Eisteddfod at CPAC.
You will be required to enter the name of the person using the Multi-session Passes when purchasing.
Concession Rates apply to:

Age Pensioners, Disability Pensioners and War Veterans. Health Care Cards and Seniors Cards are not accepted.
Speciality Teachers - applies to Dance, Drama or Music Teachers (not primary or high school classroom teachers)
Students - applies to 5-17 yrs (No charge under 5 yrs)
Generally there is no right to a refund or exchange except as required by law, or as provided in the Live Performance Australia Ticketing Code of Practice. Please refer to Ticketlink Terms and Conditions on this website.
