Jazz: Grew up in a home full of music & travel. The outback & desert was home for most of my childhood & being exposed to most genres of music, fell in love with the likes of Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Lena Horne, Sarah Vaughan, Etta James, Bessie Smith, Mario Lanza, Too many to mention. They all helped shape & 'round' my preferences in styles & singing. I attended TAFE in 2010 in Cairns, Certificate III in Music & was further influenced by the highly skilled & talented teachers. It was an honour & a privilege to be guided & supported by them

Influenced by the great divas of jazz from the 1920's to the 2000 divas of today.Jewels 'N' Jazz, A dynamic, versatile entertainer with gorgeous, smokey vocals, adding accentuating tones to the greatest jazz diva standards of the 1920s, 30s, 40s & today.
A sexy, energetic, performer, giving her audience an evening of romantic music & glamour.
Jewels has her own musical/sound equipment with a portable, powerful Yamaha 300StagePA & amplifier, dynamic microphone & her music is professional recordings of live bands, orchestras & MP3s, sourced from Paris, London, Milan, Monte Carlo & Melbourne. The music is played on a portable CD deck with access to the PA amplifier & has the capacity to cover a large venue with up to 300 people, or can also be adapted to suit a small venue. |
