Jim Cadman is a local professional musician with over 35 years of musical experience. His musical talents and career have gifted him the opportunity to travel to all corners of the globe playing in many bands of all genres. The highlight of his early career were his times with 80's/90's ensemble HOT CAFE playing gypsy jazz /latin music mining the style of Django Reinhardt taking him to Europe UK Israel Asia and beyond. Then on to Melbourne through the late 90's saw a solo career with The Jim Cadman Bands critically acclaimed album You Don't Recognise Me Do You reaching great heights including various appearances live at the MCG .
Today jim chooses to live in Cairns and can be seen and heard playing bluesy toe tapping acoustic music in restaurants, clubs, parties and festivals. His solo style of infectious rhythm accompanied with funky harmonica and the voice of experience can be heard from Cape York to Murdering Point.
