Joanne Heming has been brought with music in her life with her father a musician.
Over the last twelve months Joanne has been working on her own compositions and is looking to release a debut CD this year.
Apart from unique vocal ability Joanne in competent with guitar and ukulele.
Already Jo has a number of high profile performances to her name including providing back up vocals to bluesman GG Davies in his featured performance at on of Australia's best venues The Tanks Cultural Centre here in Cairns.
Other performances include the award winning Mondo Cafe, Bar and Grill, the Hilton Hotel Cairns, the Tanks Market Day stage, Voodoos Cajun Kitchen, the Esplanade stage for the Cairns Regional Council, Wallaby Creek Festival, Walkabout Tavern Gove etc.
Joanne's song list apart, from her originals, include Missy Higgins, Fiona Apple, Tori Amos, Imogen Heap, Radio Head, Paul Kelly, Nick Cave, AC/DC, ZZ Top etc.
