Award winning Fingerstyle guitarist and composer Jordan Brodie, is regarded as
“one of the best young guitar players in Australia”. With his fine sense of
showmanship and technical virtuosity, Jordan is well on his way to a flourishing solo
career.
Based in Cairns, Jordan, a graduate of the Queensland Conservatorium of Music
released his new album “In Good Company” in March 2018 through MGM
distribution. The album explores elements of folk, jazz, and classical music and
draws on old and new inspirations such as Emil Ernebro, Julian Lage, Ralph Towner
and Tommy Emmanuel.
He is known to dazzle audiences with his fingerstyle guitar technique, with
performance highlights including Tanks Arts Centre (Cairns), Tablelands Folk
Festival, Palm Creek Folk Festival (Townsville), Brisbane International Jazz Festival,
Kangaroo Valley Folk Festival (Sydney) and Newport Folk Festival (Melbourne). In
support of his new album, Jordan will be touring Australia from April 2018. Don’t miss
