Kawanji Aboriginal Dance Group has been performing for over 40 years nationally & internationally. Our dance group is made up of our family. We are descendants of the Gu Gu Yalanji tribe of the Palmer River area of Cape York. Kawanji Dance Group have didgeridoo players,professional dancers, singers, storytellers, choreographers, painters and traditional artefacts makers. Our dance group have many years of experience doing Corporate, community events and schools.

| We have helped establish aboriginal dance groups from the East Coast of Australia from Townsville to Tasmania. Teaching aboriginal law and customs through song, dance and story telling. |
