Kim is no stranger to the local live music scene and was recently nominated as a finalist for 'Best Live Entertainment' at the 2012 Douglas Business Awards. A Port Douglas resident for over 10 years Kim performs as a solo artist and in an acoustic/folk rock guitar duo called Easy Pickings. Together Easy Pickings have opened for Chocolate Starfish, Daryl Braithwaite, Passenger (UK), Dragon and the Black Sorrows.
With a swag of covers in her repertoire Kim is now looking forward to sharing her debut solo EP Letters to Letty. Enabled as a result of a RADF grant, Kim's repertoire of diverse originals reflects mature musings, with a contemporary folk and rock edge that will no doubt appeal to audiences of all ages. Although a late bloomer to the music scene Kim has steadily built up a strong fan base locally and is fast becoming one of the Far Norths favourite live performers.
