Mexican night: TEQUILA TAKEOVER (also Johann Strauss I, Albert Einstein, Paul Ehrlich & Tammi Saal birthday)
Come along and celebrate the Tequila Takeaway where Mexico comes back to the club for a special one night of Latin fun - and it’s also the birthday of four legendary German Club heroes! This Friday, March 14th at the German Club! It's a crazy German and Mexican combo night with a Tequila workshop and tasting on offer from 6-8pm by Uriel (There is a $90 charge for the Tequila workshop), our regular German beers with some fun cocktails thrown in to fit the theme - and authentic Mexican food from the kitchen! Latin Roots will also do a floorshow to bring the place 100% alive.
Uriel promises four incredible tequilas of the highest quality and will talk you through the entire experience. This is a first for Cairns and a great chance to very much appreciate one of the most enjoyable drinks traditional to his homeland. Expert Tequila education on our doorstep! Enjoy a night of history, culture, and culinary delights as the German Club celebrates the launch of the Latino Association FNQ right here in Cairns. This new association is a non-profit cultural organisation using our club rooms to hold functions, rehearse dancing and celebrate culture. We are auspicing this new association to support and strengthen the multicultural nature of Cairns and are proud to provide advice, help with funding and give a home to these warm and friendly people.
