Running in the Shadows are Australia’s longest running tribute to this iconic band and continue to tour this country (and others) extensively, playing in some of the best venues to capacity crowds.

The 7 piece band will blow your mind as they perform the biggest hits of Fleetwood Mac in a powerhouse, energetic show over 3 nights. You will hear all your favourites, Gypsy, Landslide, Don’t Stop, Rhiannon, Dreams, Everywhere, Go your own way, The Chain…and many , many more.

THE BAND:

Ursula Stewart Vocals, Gary Stewart Keys/Vocals

Are the founders of Running in the Shadows – a concept they put together in 2001. Both from New Zealand, and now living in Sydney. Their show is not only the longest running tribute to Fleetwood Mac, but has toured extensively throughout Australia, New Zealand and the UK. They have always managed to source the best musicians for their group and on this visit to Cairns they are touring some of the best.

Introducing Lauren Azar - Vocals

Lauren Azar is a powerhouse singer, songwriter, and performer with a decade-long career in music. Lauren gained national recognition as the resident singer for The Rubens, performing Never Ever on MTV Unplugged and Triple J’s The Set, while also touring with Pink’s Beautiful Trauma tour.

Most recently, she has worked as a keyboardist and backing vocalist for Andrew Farriss (INXS) and Lachy Doley, touring across Australia. With a career defined by versatility and soul, Lauren brings her rich musical journey to the stage in every performance.

Angelos Tsoltoudis – Guitar

Ange is one of Australia’s sort after guitar players having played, recorded and toured with bands such as Dragon, Sharon O’Neil, Hush, The Angels, Swanee, The Bombers, John Paul Young, Brainchild, Seed, Sons of

Steel…..just to name a few. And has shared the stage nationally and internationally with the likes of Joe Walsh, Jeff Skunk Baxter, Status Quo, Cheap Trick, The Party Boys, Jimmy Barnes, Johnny Diesel, The Divinyls, Southern Sons, Rose Tattoo……

Ange has played in and has been a founding member of numerous cover and concept bands like The Great Gig in The Sky, The Boys Down Under, Zeppelin, Inxsive, Australian Anthems…….and has worked as a hired gun with just about everyone in the industry having earnt the respect from his peers.

Shane O’Neill – Percussion – The enigma that is Shane O’Neill. Shanes energy on stage is like none other, as he adds the polish to these amazing songs with his percussion skills.

Of course everyone in Cairns will know Shane from The Pigs. Shane is worth the ticket price alone – HOWEVER these shows in December are ALL FREE!

Mark Spiteri – Drums Mark Spiteri is the ROCK in Running in the Shadows – sets the pace and is solid – EVERYTIME. Mark also adds his (Mick Fleetwood ) Flare to the tunes, and adds plenty of his own as well. He plays with several bands, including New Wave Groove, Rick Dangerous & the Silkie Bantams, Running in the Shadows of Fleetwood Mac, and Don't Change – INXS Tribute.

Adam Nicholls - With decades of experience as a multi-instrumentalist, Adam has built a deep and versatile musical foundation. Starting on piano and guitar, Adam developed a strong sense of melody and rhythm .Inspired by players like John McVie of Fleetwood Mac, Adam knows when to hold back and when to let the bass take center stage.
