Shirl is a versatile songwriter/performer living in the northern beaches of Cairns.

Shirl has an extensive repertoire of songs for all occasions. She covers songs from a broad range of artists from varying styles. She's an original songwriter, a country girl at heart with songs that reveal a contemplative folk, country, bluesy connection.
A multi award winning songwriter, her song, “My Kind of Paradise” won - Best Song 2015 in Max T Barnes Cairns to Nashville Song Competition, World music award at Australian Songwriters Conference 2016 and 2013 Port Douglas - Song of Carnivale. Also awarded RADF funding in 2013 for an official video of the song and RADF funding in 2016 for professional development.
