Cairns based Singer / songwriter, Stevie Roberts performs a selection of classic/ contemporary songs plus some home-grown originals. Accompanied by his smooth piano grooves, Stevie brings a classy, laid back vibe to his gigs.
Influenced by a diverse range of artists from John Legend, Macklemore, Jamiroquai & Amy Winehouse through to Radiohead, U2 & Coldplay, Stevie’s act encompasses a number of different musical genres, Soul, R n B, Pop, Jazz and Blues, all interpreted with his unique piano style. Expect also to hear a number of Stevie’s originals, which have been released internationally through his record label CD Baby.
Stevie is originally from the UK, but has called Cairns home for the past 20 years since after being drawn in by the tropical lifestyle during travels through Australia.
Stevie has played piano and keyboards with local Cairns bands SugarSonic and Humidity and is a sought after session player for a variety of Cairns vocalists. Stevie also writes and produces for Electronic dance music act Groovemash which collaborates with other musicians and singers.
