THE BUTTERFLY EFFECT\r\n \r\nBrisbane’s The Butterfly Effect formed in 1999 and became iconic on the Australian hard and heavy alt-rock scene with their debut single reaching No. 1 on the independent charts, and their debut album spending 56 weeks in total in the charts.\r\nThe band’s second album debuted at No. 2 on the ARIA mainstream charts and their third debuted at No. 3. The 2-DVD set released in 2013 debuted at No. 1 on the ARIA DVD chart. All 3 albums have achieved Gold status, and their singles featured in the ‘Triple J Hottest 100’ for six consecutive years.\r\nThe Butterfly Effect toured overseas extensively and have performed at all the major rock festivals in Australia including the Clipsal 500, Big Day Out, Homebake, Falls, and Livid Festivals along with countless headlining shows to fervent full houses.\r\nFollowing the departure of singer Clint Boge in 2012, the band continued with new vocalist Paul Galagher and released the ‘Eyes Down’ single before disbanding in 2016. They reformed with Boge back at the mic in 2017 and sold 10,000 tickets within 24 hours of announcing their return tour dates, spawning more shows to be announced which quickly sold out across the country. They hit the studio and recorded ‘Unbroken’, their first new music with Clint at the helm in over 10 years.\r\nThe Butterfly Effect’s popularity did not wane during their hiatus from releasing music, with over 10 million Spotify streams and 56k monthly listeners, and their videos racking up millions of views on YouTube.\r\nA recent music video featured behind-the-scenes footage and on-stage rampaging at the Good Things Festivals, showing they have lost none of the intensity they became renowned for, and the band are amping up for the live scene to ramp up again kicking off 2022 with some headlining shows around Queensland.\r\nDuring Covid restrictions The Butterfly Effect spent time writing and recording and they now prepare to release their anticipated fourth studio album titled ‘IV’ – their first album in 14 years - due for release in June 2022 ahead of an October tour.\r\nThe Butterfly Effect is Ben Hall (drums), Glenn Edmond (bass guitar), Kurt Goedhart (lead guitar) and Clint Boge (lead vocals).\r\nWEBSITE - www.thebutterflyeffectband.com.au\r\nFACEBOOK – www.facebook.com/thebutterflyeffectau\r\nINSTAGRAM – www.instagram.com/thebutterflyeffectband\r\nTWITTER - https://twitter.com/TBEAustralia\r\nYOUTUBE – www.youtube.com/channel/UCMhmI-gdbUVymiAgCmpqSXw SPOTIFY – https://open.spotify.com/artist/0kns2X0IFTXafgOGd2IlKJ\r\nAPPLE MUSIC - https://music.apple.com/au/artist/the-butterfly-effect/27978378 LINKTREE - https://linktr.ee/TheButterflyEffect\r\n \r\n THE BUTTERFLY EFFECT\r\n DISCOGRAPHY STUDIO ALBUMS\r\nBEGINS HERE (Modern Music) – August 2003\r\nIMAGO (Modern Music) – June 2006\r\nFINAL CONVERSATION OF KINGS (Roadshow Music) – September 2008\r\nCOMPLIATION ALBUMS\r\nEFFECTED (Roadshow Music) – 2012\r\nB-SIDES, LIVE & RARITIES (Collision Course) – October 2016\r\nEP\r\nTHE BUTTERFLY EFFECT (Roadshow Music) – 2001\r\nSINGLES\r\n+ Official Music Video links\r\nCRAVE – 2001\r\nTAKE IT AWAY – 2001\r\nONE SECOND OF INSANITY – 2003 CONSEQUENCE – 2003 ALWAYS – 2004 BEAUTIFUL MINE – 2004 PHOENIX – 2005\r\nA SLOW DESCENT – 2006 GONE – 2006\r\nREACH – 2007\r\nWINDOW AND THE WATCHER – 2009 IN THESE HANDS – 2009\r\nEYES DOWN – 2013 UNBROKEN – 2019\r\nSO TIRED – 2021\r\nNIL BY MOUTH – 2022\r\nDVD EFFECTED two DVD set – 2013\r\n\r\n
