The Pop Vultures draw inspiration from a diverse range of artists and genres spanning several decades. Our influences range from Australian icons such as INXS, Cold Chisel, Paul Kelly, Dragon and Australian Crawl through to classic artists including Fleetwood Mac, Billy Joel, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Eagles and Eric Clapton. We also share a love of strong female artists such as Melissa Etheridge, Chrissie Hynde, Stevie Nicks and The Divinyls, alongside contemporary performers including Dua Lipa, Chappell Roan and Teddy Swims.
Rather than focusing on a single style, we're inspired by great songs, memorable melodies and authentic live performance. Whether it's a stripped-back acoustic ballad, a classic pub-rock anthem or a dance-floor favourite, our goal is always to create a genuine connection with our audience. |

The Pop Vultures combines the experience of two seasoned Far North Queensland musicians. Both members perform with the popular local band Waiting for Alice and have been involved in numerous musical projects throughout their careers.
Together, their live performance experience spans weddings, corporate functions, community events, festivals, licensed venues and private celebrations across Far North Queensland. Drawing on decades of combined experience, The Pop Vultures delivers a professional, engaging and versatile live music experience tailored to each audience and event. |
