Wayne has played ‘solo’ jazz guitar’ in most of the 5 star resorts and hotels around Cairns and performed in cover/blues/jazz/latin bands in the area since 1978.
Wayne’s solo guitar is the perfect background for corporate events /cocktail parties and any function that requires elegant and sophisticated instrumental music.
No backing tracks or ‘play-a-long’ robots used, just a diverse repertoire of music played by a seasoned professional.

Playing at the ‘Jazz In June’ concerts at the now Pullman International back in the 90’s.
Jamming with Stevie Wonders band in Rockhampton after their concert...meeting and shaking Stevie Wonders hand then listening as he and his backing singers sang gospel tunes in the after hours private bar.
Playing with Don Burrows in the lobby of the Pullman hotel during the early 90’s.
Playing with Craig Scott (head of the Sydney Con) in a Jazz Blues quartet at Thredbo in the late 70’s.
Supporting Cold Chisel at the Bondi Lifesaver in ’77 and fostering a life long friendship with Ian Moss. Concert’s with Ian at Tinaroo last November and this October.
Playing with the cream of Cairns professional musicians to many to mention. |
